guitar prodigy Camiel recorded his very first songs with the help of a trusty
Commodore 64 and two tape decks, later refining his abilities as both a
musician and technician at music college. In 2001 he recorded his debut album,
which – like the follow-up – made it into the Top 10 of the US Smooth Jazz
charts. CSR has now released a ‘best of’ collection.
Camiel is an artist with his own agenda, combining
Smooth Jazz influences with 1970s Disco beats to produce an effortlessly
sensual sound.
