When summer comes, we can’t resist the temptation of Buhne 16 on the
island of Sylt. The hip beachside bar/club just behind the dunes offers a
different pace of life – a place where you can leave your cares and concerns
behind. It's as if time stood still.
We created BUHNE 16 – ON THE BEACH #3 as a way of capturing those
special moments. Our job was to locate the right music for lounging
around on the beach. You can just imagine Donavon Frankenreiter playing the
ukulele next to you, Xavier Rudd jogging off to the shore with his surfboard
and Lelia Broussard teaming up with Joseph Kaye for a breakfast time duet. Join
these and the other select artists comprising the new Buhne 16 CD as their
vocals and guitars paint us a glorious canvass of sea, sand and surf - effectively the Buhne 16 soundtrack.
