Instant, oh
do dwell, you are so fair …
This provisionally marked the crowning achievement of moreorlessJazz! The third installment in the popular series shows
that Jazz has no reason to be shy and is anything but old-fashioned,
out-of-date or inaccessible. On the contrary: today’s Jazz masters take a
laid-back, relaxed, sensual and serene approach. Fifteen high-calibre artists – from the stars of tomorrow to
international insider-tips and undisputed greats – invite you to sit back,
relax and dream a little dream …
First up is Rosa Passos enchanting us with the subtly seductive Latino-style
groove of “Wave”, while German artists show that they, too, are in the Major
League of Jazz. There’s the Matthias Vogt Trio feat. Roger Cicero with the
wonderful “The Look Into Your Eyes”, while Kitty Hoff excels in the German-style
chanson genre immortalised by Marlene Dietrich. And not forgetting top German
trumpeter Till Brönner doing the honours alongside his friend Jeff Cascaro.
It really can’t get any smoother than this! Or can it?
